The venue
About The Crest Center & Pavilion
The Crest Center & Pavilion is a ridge-top venue in Asheville with a glass-enclosed pavilion and a mountain-lodge main hall. The venue is at 22 Celebration Place, Asheville, NC 28806 (crestweddingsnc.com). Per its wedding facilities page:
- The Crest Center is a mountain-lodge-style hall for up to 200 guests, with 86 feet of windows facing west over the Blue Ridge, a bar and lounge with a stone fireplace, an overlook deck and a mezzanine.
- The Crest Pavilion is a little over 7,000 square feet, completely glass enclosed with an option to be open air, a 30-foot ceiling, a canopy of white lights, ceiling heaters and a rock terrace with an outdoor wood-burning fireplace. The venue says it holds up to 350.
- Timing. Weddings are typically a ceremony and reception in a five-hour block. The Crest Center is reserved from 5:00 to 10:00 pm and the Pavilion from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, with the option to buy more time. Morning weddings run 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Ceremonies. The grounds have several outdoor ceremony locations, plus indoor options.
